In this case, this means anthracite-coloured surfaces with profiled aluminium frames. The drawer sits loosely in its runner and can be removed to serve as a tray on the worktop or elsewhere. The wooden shelf has a melamine coating, also in anthracite, for better durability and easy cleaning. This makes it particularly scratch-resistant and hard-wearing thanks to the hardened melamine resin top layer. Especially if you want to store provisions or liquid cooking ingredients in your drawers, spillages can occur, which should be just as inconsequential as contact with sharp objects such as knives or can openers.
Various installation dimensions to choose from - pull-out base unit for kitchens
This pull-out base unit is available for the 45 cm and 60 cm grid formats of modern fitted kitchen planning. You should know the dimensions of your cupboard for which you have chosen a VIBO Four Side Drawer set for good reason. 60 cm is the standard size, while 45 cm is a narrower version for space-saving requirements in small spaces, which is still easy to work with. For the standard 60 cm format, the drawer dimensions are 564 x 468 x 146.5 mm in width, depth and height. For the narrow version, this would be 414 x 468 x 146.5 mm. In addition to the soft close function mentioned above, the drawer runners also have a quick-release system that allows the drawer to be removed and reinserted without the use of tools.
In contrast to a pull-out in which the cupboard door slides out with the compartments behind it, with VIBO Four Side Drawers a door with the surface design of the kitchen front is fitted in front of the drawers, which first has to be opened to access the drawers. When closed, nothing of the base unit pull-out is visible; the cabinet door conceals everything. Of course, several of these pull-outs can be combined on top of each other, usually two or three, with a greater distance between the bottom decks to allow taller items to be stored in the bottom drawer.
